HIFI SDP/PSP Data Processing Workshop @ ESTEC 8-9 April 2010

Posted by Jinzeng Li at March 24. 2010

Dear Herschel colleague,

The "HIFI Science Demonstration Phase/ Priority Science Phase Data Processing Workshop" will  take place in ESTEC-Noordwijk, The Netherlands, on 8-9 April 2010.

The primary target audience of this workshop, jointly organised by the HSC/NHSC and the HIFI ICC, is all HIFI KP members involved in the analysis and data reduction of HIFI Science Demonstration Phase/Priority Science Phase data.

Updates on the status of HIFI and what has been learned from PV, as well as the latest improvements in HIPE of interest to HIFI users,  will be given.   Significant time will be dedicated to users working on their SDP/PSP data while experts are on hand to assist with problems. It is anticipated that by then most KPs will have some data; PV data will be made available if this is not the case.

Participants are encouraged to register through the HSC Helpdesk by submitting a ticket to the department:

"HIFI SDP/PSP Data Processing Workshop, ESTEC, 8-9 April 2010"

and by filling in the form there available, that will help us to adapt as much as possible the workshop agenda to your needs.

The deadline for registering for this workshop is:

                     *** 22 March 2010, 17:00 CET ***

Note that attendance is limited to a maximum of 60 participants,  on a first come, first served basis.
In case of conflict, priority will be given to those members of under-represented HIFI KP consortia.
