  Herschel en route to L2!
  ========================

   Herschel was given a perfect launch yesterday 14 May 2009 at
  13:12:02 UT from Kourou by an Ariane 5 ECA vehicle. All went
  very smoothly and just under 40 minutes after liftoff, radio
  contact was successfully established with both Herschel and Planck.
